Fort Worth Senior Portraits

Kennedale Triplets - Stockyards & TCC Downtown Session

Three women joyfully pose under the Fort Worth Stock Yards sign on a sunny day in Texas.

If you’re searching for Fort Worth senior portraits that feel natural, confident, and location-driven, this session with Lexi, Gabbi, and Elli from Kennedale High School is a perfect example.

We photographed their senior portraits at two very different locations in Fort Worth: the Fort Worth Stockyards and the Tarrant County College Trinity River Campus downtown campus.

The contrast between the two locations gave us a mix of textures, light, and atmosphere that made the session feel dynamic and complete.

Meet Lexi, Gabbi & Elli

Lexi, Gabbi, and Elli are triplets graduating from Kennedale High School, and all three are athletes. That competitive energy carried into the session in the best way—confident, focused, and comfortable in front of the camera.

Each of them brought their own personality to the shoot, which made it important to balance individual portraits with moments that showed their connection as siblings.

Location ONe: Fort Worth Stockyards

We started at the Fort Worth Stockyards, one of the strongest locations in North Texas for senior portraits.

The area gives you:

  • Strong textures and contrast
  • Clean leading lines and depth
  • A classic Texas atmosphere

It’s a go-to for Fort Worth senior photographers because it allows for a wide variety of looks in a small area.

Location two: TCC Downtown Campus

Next, we moved to the Tarrant County College Trinity River Campus downtown campus.

This location brought a completely different feel—modern architecture, clean lines, and reflective surfaces that contrast with the more rustic look of the Stockyards.

Lighting & Problem Solving in Real Time

One of the things I enjoy most about sessions like this is working in challenging light.

At certain points in the session, we were dealing with mixed shadows and strong directional light—situations that require constant adjustment and awareness. I actually find that part exciting. There’s something about stepping into a difficult lighting scenario and treating it like a puzzle to solve—balancing highlights, shadows, and subject placement until everything clicks.

That process is where some of the most interesting images come from.

Athlete Senior Portraits in Fort Worth

Because all three are athletes at Kennedale High School, the session naturally leaned into movement, posture, and confidence.

For athlete seniors, the goal is always the same:

  • Keep it natural
  • Keep it strong
  • Let personality show through without forcing it
