Parker | Eagle Mountain Park Senior Portraits | Class of 2027

Parker is a junior at Eagle Mountain High School and plays soccer, but for this session, we kept things simple. No gimmicks. No over-styling. Just clean light, straightforward posing, and a focus on getting it right in camera. We shot at Eagle Mountain Park, which gave us a solid, natural backdrop without needing to overcomplicate anything. The goal wasn’t to chase trends or force anything creative—it was to create strong, timeless images that will still hold up years from now.

Parker made that easy.

She stayed relaxed, took direction well, and didn’t try to do too much in front of the camera. That’s usually the difference. When the energy is calm and focused, the images come out clean. No distractions, no wasted frames.

We leaned into traditional posing throughout the session. Good posture, intentional positioning, subtle adjustments—nothing dramatic, just small refinements that make a big difference on camera. It’s not complicated, but it does require attention to detail, and that’s where experience shows.

Lighting was a mix of natural light and strobe, kept clean and controlled the entire time. Nothing flashy—just enough shaping to separate her from the background and keep everything consistent from frame to frame. The goal wasn’t to make it look lit, it was to make it look right.

This is the kind of session a lot of people overlook right now. Everyone’s trying to outdo each other with concepts, props, and locations, but most of that doesn’t age well. Simple does.

And when it’s done right, it’s better.
